Each group of buoys is made into a long field control structure. Generally, a group of buoys is divided into 2 buoy blocks (sometimes 3), and the inner shape of each buoy block matches the outer diameter of the riser and the auxiliary tube. Floating Pontoon Dock manufacturer introduced that some conditions need to be considered in the design stage of the pontoon structure, mainly as follows:

1. The pontoon shell is generally formed by an integral mold, and then the foam material is injected into the package. The surface material is generally fiber-reinforced material, which has strong resistance to wear and impact. The hard surface of the pontoon made of this material can withstand water pressure in deep water.
2. In some cases, in order to further increase the strength of the buoy block, a layer of reinforcement net is added between the shell of the buoy block and the synthetic foam material.
3. In order to avoid the bending load generated by gravity in the horizontal plane from being excessively transmitted to the pontoon during installation or lifting of the riser, two flexible feet are consciously designed in the inner circumference of the pontoon block.
4. The upper and lower end faces of most buoys are designed as sleeve type. One end of each group of sleeves is designed as a concave end and one end is designed as a convex end, so that after the sleeve is installed, each group of independent buoys forms a series of buoys. Some operations are conducive to uniform buoyancy.
5. After the buoy block is processed, the outer circumferential surface of the buoy block is often designed as a flat surface in order to facilitate stacking.
6. The main function of the buoy is to provide buoyancy for the riser in the water. Each buoy block must be installed and fixed in a specific riser section, and its internal groove shape must correspond to the actual structure of the riser.
7. In order to distinguish the buoys in different water depths, the buoys are distinguished by different colors.
